This year, our urban, public school's community has begun to channel energy into making our school and the curriculum even more accessible for our diverse student population. Our school has approximately 50 handicapped students who will love the opportunity to use the new library computer lab! Many of our students with limited motor skills will use the touch screen monitors to access the various digital learning materials, currently unavailable to them. Some of our students cannot hold pencils or even hold or turn the pages of a book. The touch screen monitors will help provide all of our students, including our physical handicapped students, with access to new learning opportunities.
