These seats will allow students to have appropriate seating in my classroom. Half of them are being asked to sit on the side of double desks due to COVID. They will need to write with the desk at their side to avoid facing the other student who can sit with the desk in front of themselves. Good seating is a basic necessity for learning. These single desks and chairs will ease the number of students having to write and type in awkward positions. We will be able to avoid having students sit at light tables on uncomfortable stools. These will be a great lesson on how proper ergonomics affects brain and body function.
