After students complete their paintings, they need a safe place to dry their art. This rack will hold portraits, landscapes and mixed media art creations. This would be a tool in the art room that will be used everyday and year after year. Allowing air to flow below and above the art will ensure quicker drying. A drying rack would encourage the students to work in stages while encouraging organization and care. Students would work together in caring for preservation of the projects while pieces are stored to dry on the drying rack. We have desperately needed this tool. Students will be painting on canvas panels, water color paper and cardboard. To have a safe place for them to dry would be exciting.
