I have 24 first grade students who come to school eager to learn every single day despite challenging home lives. They are full of curiosity and an insatiable desire to learn and absorb every bit of information presented to them in the classroom. My classroom has a variety of students who are inspired and motivated by technology. Access to computers and other technologies can be an effective tool for reaching our students and developing the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world. We have excellent technology resources that come with our math and ELA textbook adoptions but the classroom computers themselves are outdated and there doesn't seem to be any means of improving this technology in the near future. Our school provides a positive environment for all children to learn and it shows by their positive attitudes and enthusiasm towards education.
