Our school is in a rural district where it can take 20+ minutes for emergency services to arrive to our school and sometimes even longer to the homes of our students. When it comes to emergencies, every minute counts. Our students, staff, and community would greatly benefit from CPR training. CPR saves lives. I am asking for the supplies to certify all our school staff in CPR, provide an age-appropriate first aid and emergency training for our students using a teddy bear clinic, and offer the opportunity for community members to be trained in CPR.
