I am a traveling teacher, this means I go to different classrooms to teach ESOL and Spanish. Having this Laptop will allow for different learning resources to be used as well as playing DVD's which students can look at stories, pictures, videos to help them develop their academic skills. The laptop will also motivate them to learn and practice their English and Spanish vocabulary. All of my students will benefit from this technology. With the use of the iPad, I could download various apps for reading, and vocabulary practice skills and for a Reading / Language Center which would allow me to have activities for my high, average and low groups.
