I am developing math and literacy centers focusing on inquiry based activities. I am new to teaching kindergarten and am looking to create center activities using loose parts to show different ways to come to the same solution. Letter stamps using various materials and sensory letters to develop strong reading and writing skills. (R.K.1-3) (W.K.103) It is important to foster their sense of creativity and imagination. I would like the kids to have real world experiences by running a restaurant or a farmer's market through imaginative play using math skills with a focus on number sense and further develop their speaking and listening skills. (K.CC.A) (SL.K.1)
