Growing Up Green II is a school located in Jamaica, Queens and is currently in it's third year of existence. Students come to school each day ready to learn, and families are eager to send their children to our building each day. However, our classrooms lack specific technology that could really take learning to the next level in the classroom. More than 3/4's of our students come from low-income households, and therefore it is likely that technology is not easily accessible for them outside of school either. I am aiming to get the materials necessary for the reading, writing, math, science, and social studies lovers in my classroom! Technology brings opportunity, advancement, and development and these are all things that my 25 students deserve!
