Entering into a classroom where students are harmonizing in singing as they conduct an inquiry activity during science is the norm for me as a teacher. Nonetheless, as a performing arts public high school in an inner city, students' first performance is in the classroom academically. Students are always eager to learn, and have persevered even when the school district didn't appear all that stable. However, with only having outdated textbooks and limited supplies, now they need a little help in making their academic performance in the classroom a little better.
