Our school is located in eastern North Carolina and has a student population where 69% are living below the poverty level. I have a passion for STEM education and work diligently to infuse real world learning into my classroom. My students are challenged daily and work hard to meet high expectations that are set for them academically. My goal is to create avid learners who are curious and observant of the world around them. I want students to embrace thinking outside of the box and become real world problem solvers.
