The laptop I am requesting for our first grade classroom is needed in order to connect with our students. Our blended model of learning requires a remote learning component and this laptop will enable us to connect through live teaching and discussion. This laptop will help us build a stronger community of learners and keep us connected efficiently. We all know these are unprecedented times and therefore we need to adopt a new way of teaching through blended learning. Our laptop is 7 years old and the technology is outdated which made connecting on Google Classroom difficult at times. This laptop will assist us in connecting, learning, and providing social-emotional support without interruption. The daily continuity in our young learner's lives will provide much needed stability during these trying and uncertain times we are facing
