Our elementary school is located in rural Oklahoma City. The student demographic is about 97% Hispanic with English as their second language. Comprehension is very important at the 6th grade level and it is something that both subscriptions to Time for Kids and Scholastic can help with. Unfortunately, many of our students are also quite poor. About 98% of our students receive free or reduced lunch and many are sent home with food sacks for the weekend. Education is very important to our students and they benefit so much each day they step foot into the classroom.
