The Blackstone Innovation School is a public school in the heart of Boston that serves 650 students. About 90% of our population qualifies for free lunch and more than half are English language learners. At the Blackstone Innovation School, we empower each other to learn, grow and succeed to become our best selves. Working together, we foster the core values that lie within us, such as respect, unity, and excellence! My typical classroom serves preschool students coming from over 10 different countries. This diversity is what makes my classroom fun and interesting to come to everyday. Although my families come from exciting and enriching cultures, most of them fall below the poverty line. I strongly believe this should never define the quality of their child's education. Help me bridge the gap and provide my students with the high quality, innovative materials they deserve! I thank you in advance for your generosity.
