We are a predominately minority urban school with enormous challenges. Those challenges do not defeat our students. They have dreams and goals but require extraordinary assistance to make them seem attainable. Despite any odds, they focus and prepare for the future with outdated technology and sometimes a lack of support. My students attend college and accomplish their goals, but the journey to get there is where your help is needed. Much preparation for college has to be done in school which sometimes means they have to miss class instruction. The students are creative, and intelligent. They are appreciative of support received to assist them in realizing their future plans.

About my class
