I teach college physics through the University of Texas OnRamps program on the north side of Houston at an at-risk high school. My students are very socio-economically diverse. We house an Early College High School program, which requires the student to be a first-generation college student. Our campus also includes students who have not been successful on their big home campus for myriad reasons. I teach both categories of students in my classes.
