I'm a Self Contained Special Education teacher. I service a great group of special needs students. My job entails being very creative with my presentation of the educational instruction as it relates to math, science, literacy and social studies. As you know, all students learn differently. My students are visual, auditory and tactile learners. Without updated technology I'm at a disadvantage for serving my wonderful children. This will definitely help me during intermittent remote learning and unusual, unforeseen pandemic crisis. Without updated technology, Lenovo - 17'Laptop, I wouldn't be able to provide my students the education that they well deserve. A new laptop will allow me to overcome the technology hurdles I am facing with an out-of-date laptop. This laptop would help speed up the time we waste waiting for an old laptop to load and use new modernized district technology initiatives.
