Our school is a high poverty school and all of the students in my classroom have identified disabilities. Their disabilities make it difficult to interact with peers, acquire academic skills and communicate appropriately. There are only a few students in our classroom but they require intensive academic and behavioral instruction at all times with highly trained staff members.
