My students come from low income families in our school neighborhood. They are Fifth Graders bilingual students. They are getting ready to merge in general classes when they get to middle school. They are eager young boys and girls filled with curiosity and a thirst for knowledge but their socioeconomic situation doesn't help them. We are working hard getting a stronger science knowledge. With your help, we will be able to provide these young, future-minded, scientific minds with the opportunity to learn and fully understand what they are taught. The supplies we are requesting are going to be used in hands-on activities are for small group instruction. The models and the DVD will help differentiate instruction and fit students' needs. You will be able to provide them with materials that will help them visualize concepts and supplies that will enable them to work hands on in the classroom.
