We are a public Charter Middle School, which means we must manage and finance all programs that we and our community recognize as being worthwhile and educational. However, each year we see an increase in the number of students with socioeconomic hardships. These students lack many of the things we all take for granted. Often times, access to technology and computers are available to them only here at school. Our Industrial Technology program provides these students real world technology experiences and remains the most popular and requested elective at our school. Because of this approach to learning, more difficult concepts like Mathematics become more easily understood in my Industrial Technology class. My students are energetic, have a passion for creativity, and when you see them walk up to use a machine you also see a smile wash over their face. Won't you please help us?
