My incredible hardworking 5th graders attend a large public elementary school in the South Bronx. Many of my students live in temporary homes, are in foster care, or live in multi-family apartment homes. Although my students are below grade level, the population of students in my class is comprised of students with a wide range of learning abilities. Despite any hardships my students are genuinely excited to learn.As their teacher I want to provide them with the tools and experiences that they need to be successful in life.

About my class
