My students are unique and motivated individuals who come to our urban school from all over the world. While every socioeconomic background is represented at my high school, a majority of students are eligible for free and reduced lunch and face the adversity that comes with financial struggles. My students have had a wide array of life experiences before coming together in this after school program. They are curious and excitable when given the right conditions and we want to give them the tools to succeed.
