My students attend a rural school in Iowa. There are 375 students K-12 and the majority are on free and reduced lunch. They enjoy hands-on learning and learning things that are "real." I see 37 students daily and we work on hands-on learning projects that are of high interest to the students. My students are learning critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving skills that they will use in their future endeavors.
