I believe it’s important to give students opportunities to experience career related projects. I plan to create a medical themed classroom so students throughout my school can experience opportunities designed to inspire and prepare them for the healthcare profession. To be successful at creating and implementing a medical themed classroom, my students will need medical equipment, tools, lab coats and items essential to a doctors office. For example, pretend and play doctor sets, costume doctor coats, first aid kits, stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, x-rays supplies, scrubs and face masks. I hope to spark dreams of such careers at an early age.
