They engaged with the material and asked questions related to it. I know they read and engaged because we watched Troy and many asked questions about the differences between the story and the movie. I have been blessed to have benefited from so many fabulous donors. Students had an opportunity to choose from several dystopian novels and have excitedly begun reading. \r\n\r\nWe are going to incorporate this unit into our research project and students will research how we see elements of dystopian societies throughout the world past and present along with understanding rhetoric and propaganda.\r\n\r\nYour donation allowed me to offer more variety and choice in this unit and also allowed me to focus on a variety of novels that deal with real life future concerns from AI and technology to marginalization of groups and rampant consumerism.
