The time students spend at my school are the very best hours of their days. My school is in a high-poverty, high-crime area with heavy gang involvement, and rampant drug use. School is a place where my students feel safe, are guaranteed two hot meals daily and are given both encouragement and love. Even though students are living in harsh living environments, they come to school eager to excel. Our school maintains high standards and we guide our students to be the very best they can be.
