My school has a population of over 1,000 students, who come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. We offer many different programs that help parents become aware of new learning strategies and standards in order to help their children with their education. There are also programs for children who need academic intervention services in struggling subjects. The teachers in my school work hard so that each student gets the attention they need as well as the education they need in order to master the curriculum. Teachers achieve this by using all different kinds of media such as technology, books and even class trips to give the children experiences that they might not get from home. As a phys. ed teacher, I too, take students on field trips for health and fitness experiences.
