There are about 450 students in grades PK-6 at my school. There are some who love to read, while others need to be encouraged, especially as they get older. Grades 1-6 use Accelerated Reader, which helps the students set reading goals and be accountable for striving to meet those goals. The students visit the library each week with their classes, but can also come in on their own to borrow books.
