My students are amazing kids struggling in a high poverty area. Many students are migrant due to unfortunate events in their lives. Some are second language learners, homeless, and struggling without parental support. Unfortunately, these children have little ability to experience anything outside of their neighborhood let alone visit a farm or nursery.
