I teach first grade at a school that at is 85% free and reduced lunch. For the majority of the students, English is the second language in their homes. Often times, the students become the teachers of the English language to their parents and grandparents.The students in my room are wonderful, fun loving, and are enthusiastic about learning. Many times they are limited by the supplies in their classroom.
