I am so excited to have a wonderful bunch of students this school year! My students range in age from 5-7, and are from diverse populations. Several students are "new-comers" to the United States, while others have been in the area for their entire lives. Some of the students have had experiences in a formal school setting, while others are at school for the very first time. To facilitate the academic and social-emotional growth of these young minds, I try to create a classroom environment that is exciting and fun. I make sure that everyday the students walk in the room excited about what they are going to learn. This is done by having an aesthetically pleasing environment that includes many classroom centers with hands-on activities. My goal is to make their Kindergarten Year the best, and most memorable, year of their academic careers.
