I am lucky enough to have an incredible group of students come into my classroom each year full of hope and aspirations, goals and dreams. However for many of them getting there is often difficult. The number one problem that they have come to me with is that they are lacking a quiet place to sit and read. With this in mind I began working on creating a section of my classroom that would be a designated quiet library zone. We've secured an amazing set of books, and several shelves over the summer to move around and section off part of our classroom. However, our library is simply missing the touches of comfort and home that my students desperately need as they sit and thumb their way through their novels.
