One area my students struggle the most with is reinforcing what they learned in school at home. Having students from other countries, I know homework is essential for them to complete and further their knowledge. I'm requesting essential school supplies so the students can practice skills I've taught in the classroom. Students will be able to show parents what we have learned and apply their own knowledge to the skill with the supplies provided for them. In my classroom, we do hands on learning and apply what we learned to white boards and worksheets similar to our daily use. With the purchase of supplies, I will not have to choose which skill was important to work on at home and limit the knowledge of the students by not practicing all work. Students will gain confidence in their learning as well as their expansion of how much they can grow over the year.
