Eager middle school students working hard to make it to college. I teach 5th and 6th grade at a small community elementary school. We are a charter school that focuses on creating leaders in our predominately Latino and African American neighborhoods. Charter schools are public schools that work with community members, parents, administration, teachers, and students to create a positive and rigorous academic learning environment. Parents CHOOSE to enroll their child in charter schools. My classes include diverse groups of GATE students, English Language Learners, struggling students, and students with special needs.
