I am an Earth Science teacher at a school with more than 2000 students. Our zone is the size of the state of Rhode Island, and we have more buses than any other school in the district. My students are mainly rural students that spend their free time working on vehicles, and enjoying the great outdoors. Many of my students are interested in careers associated with the outdoors, farming and ranching. As a result, Earth Sciences are an integral part of their every day life. Some of my students have limited access to computers and Internet because of the isolation of their homes, or the economic status of their families.
