My students are all part of a district wide PRIDE program. This is a program that strictly works with students who are diagnosed with severe emotional disabilities and oppositional defiance. Don't let that scare you, because my students make up some of the most determined go-getters in the entire school! Many of my students are sensory learners, some are also language deficit, and all of them are performing at levels below their grade level expectations. It is my goal to help accommodate and work with every student to maximize their potential by utilizing different teaching styles and techniques to deliver instruction and embed multi-faceted practice into my multi-grade classroom.
