My students are an amazing group of 9 year old 4th graders who are excited about learning. My classroom is rich in diversity, both culturally and socioeconomically. Many of the students in our population are second language learners, many of whom receive free or reduced lunch. Our public school is also an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) school, in which students learn to become internationally minded citizens of the world. Students learn through inquiry based instruction to become highly effective critical thinkers.
