My students attend a high poverty, Title I school. Most students often have had little to no preschool experience, and many speak a different language in their homes. In Kindergarten we are building a learning foundation that incorporates multi-sensory development that is crucial to success with the pace we are required to teach with the Common Core curriculum. These projects help us to give my students the experiences to build on with enthusiasm for learning new skills.
