My students are 7th graders who are bright, witty and thrive with hands on engaging activities. They love to express themselves by their clothes and their music and their art. I am a Special Education Teacher in the History department and my students have many challenges academically. The majority of my kids have Auditory Processing Disorders and Specific Learning Disabilities. School is not always an easy place to be, especially when you are just becoming a teenager Our school is in it's second year, as we are located in a new but rapidly growing area. Our city is half dairies and farmland, and half newly built strip centers and houses. We are all new here, but we are finding our way together, teenagers and adults alike. My students show such appreciation for this school and staff that is here to help them thrive. They truly do not take anything for granted and they show their gratitude for even the most s
