These workbooks by Barron’s Painless Series cover a variety of Language Arts subjects, such as grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. They are aligned with the Common Core Standards, and are specifically written for students who find the subjects difficult, or just need a little extra support. As described on Barnes and Nobles website, "these books take a lighthearted, humorous approach to their subjects, and offer fun exercises including puzzles, and games." My students want to continue to build their Language Arts skills in an engaging and fun way. These books will allow the students to do just that! Please help continue to keep education interesting and enjoyable for our high-schoolers!
