I am a kindergarten teacher in a rural elementary school in Indiana! The boys and girls in my class all enter kindergarten so eager to learn. I want kindergarten to set the tone for the rest of their school career. Several students come to me with preschool backgrounds and are very prepared for school and others arrive with little or no academic background. Kindergarten should be a place students look forward to coming to each day! My classroom is filled with lots of great activities that not only make learning fun, but help each student to continually build on their knowledge at whatever level they are at. My students come to me with a wide range of knowledge and it is my job to keep expanding their minds each day!
