While students will see me 2 or 3 days a week, it is important to keep the learning going when they are at home learning remotely. The gift cards I chose from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to purchase digital materials that will provide engaging and fun activities that will supplement in-person learning. I want them to see that learning from home is more than just a computer program teaching a little bit of everything or playing games but that it can be related to what we do in class and help improve their skills. I am requesting storage bags so that I can keep student materials in individual bags to limit contact between them and transferring germs. I will use the storage racks to keep them organized in the classroom. The bags can also be used for safely transferring materials back and forth from school and home in their backpacks.
