My class is composed of ELD students. For some of them my class is their first experience in a classroom and our country. My school is a school with lots of diversity, we have children from all over the world. There are about 20 different languages spoken within our school. Our school deeply values creating a diverse student population - race, area of town, socioeconomic status, and income level. Not all kids come to school loving books. By creating an engaging and organized reading environment, my students will be exposed to a wide variety of books in order to find that one that is just right for them.
