My students work best when given opportunities for creativity and self expression. To that end, I work hard to try and make my lessons as engaging as possible. As much as I can, I give my students opportunities to be active learners and explorers. I try to mix up the art mediums that they use for maximum exposure. Within those mediums, I will try and vary the way we use them, so for example, painting can be with sponges, finger painting, or dot paint. These aprons and sponge sets will allow students to have tactile experiences that can meet their sensory needs, while still keeping their clothes clean.
