At the Roy Campanella Occupational Training Center in Brooklyn, our students learn vocational skills that will help them to participate their local communities through volunteer work, or hopefully find employment after graduation. Additionally, our students who are diagnosed with Autism are taught through Applied Behavior Analysis teaching protocols. Supplies that are not a part of a typical curriculum are needed to teach behavior modification and daily living skills. With these materials, our students will have the opportunity to learn how to become independent young adults at home by helping their families with household chores such as setting the table, doing laundry, preparing food, etc. Our students will learn vocational skills such as filing, property maintenance, janitorial duties (Sweeping, mopping, wiping tables) that will enable them to gain employable skills and potentially volunteer in the community. Help them make the best of their time here at the PS 721K, The Roy Campanella Occupational Training Center!
