I have fantastic fifth graders that come to school every day ready and eager to learn. They are kind, caring, and dependable. Although their families are struggling financially, they have overwhelming parental support. They attend a public school located in a low socioeconomic area. Our low socioeconomic status is directly related to the current economy. The families we service have not always struggled financially, but are merely a result of the economic turmoil that our nation is facing.

About my class
