The requested items will allow our Pre-K students the opportunity to express their ideas and knowledge they have gained throughout the school day. The easel pads, washable markers, and watercolors will all be utilized during literature and mathematics instruction. These items will be utilized by each group to illustrate something they learned and will then provide them the opportunity to develop their oral language skills once they present their illustration to the class. Because this is the first year of their educational career most students lack oral language skills and this method will strengthen their skill and confidence in the classroom setting.
