As a world language teacher, I'd love to take my students on field trips to all the countries that speak Spanish. However, that's just not reasonable. However, there are many online resources that can take my students to the cultures studied. Making sure ALL my students have access to these resources is my goal. Since it seems everyone around us has a smart phone, you might be surprised to learn that a handful of my students don't have access to one. So, when it comes time to do these activities in class, I usually bring my own children's tablets from home and lend them to students. If I had a few extra devices at school, I could make sure all students get the same access.
