My students participate in various reading activities, and they especially enjoy listening and completing book studies as a class. This requires the necessary equipment and currently we are using less than the best making it difficult for them to all hear the book. Also, we are currently using my device to listen to the novels, and this is less than ideal. My students need earbuds to use with their school issued Chromebooks so that they can listen to instructions, questions, and other audible features available. The reading supplies that I have selected for them as enrichment will improve their overall reading and comprehension skills. The pandemic has caused many of my students to fall behind in their grade level reading expectations. They need extra enrichment and practice to overcome these deficits. My students deserve reading, listening, and comprehension materials that will allow them to have success in all aspects of reading. Readers are leaders and my students are working hard to become the leaders of tomorrow.
