The school is a refuge for many of my students, and many parents see it as a helpful resource. Over 85% of the students are from low income families and most are second language learners. Despite many hardships, I see students bring a special strength to move forward and a willingness to try new things. There is a stubborn resiliency and a warmth that brings me back every day with a new pledge to help them reach their goals.
