My band students are amazing. A small, but mighty and growing group, the vast majority of my students are from low income families in New Haven, Connecticut. These children have a natural love of music and are eager to learn and participate. Many students have strong connections to music from experiencing music with their families. Our school is unique in that it is a magnet school with a theme of global awareness. We provide a small, safe community where students are eager for the arts.
